I was born in November 1953 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. My father was a rabbi and a Talmud scholar. My mother is an Israeli citizen and was the first flight attendant for the airline El Al. My grandfather was also a rabbi.
I attended the Jewish Educational Center in Elizabeth, NJ, and graduated from Harvard College in 1975. In 1978 graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. I clerked for appellate judge Murray Gurfein, and US Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. I also worked on Mafia and political corruption cases as a prosecutor for Rudolph Giuliani, in the Southern District of New York.
Although I had a friendly working relationship with some Democrats, I took an active role in the Whitewater Investigation of Bill and Hillary Clinton, serving as special counsel for the Senate Whitewater Committee. I headed the non-investigation into 9/11. I was co-author of the Patriot Act. I was appointed Secretary of Homeland Security in 2005. I was also the Secretary during Hurricane Katrina, when military personal went house to house confiscating weapons. (Edit: the author remembers reports of bombs blowing out the levees.)
In 2009 I started a security consultancy group providing global Security Services, where we “analyze the unthinkable and help plan for the unspeakable. We sometimes deal with events that cannot be predicted or prevented, or that involved our clients through no fault of their own – massive, widespread power outages, natural disasters or terrorists attacks.” I have several fellow Chosen Ones working with me: among them are Paul Rosenzweig, Senior Advisor, Jay M. Cohen, Jonathan Paris.
Congress awarded me a multi-million dollar contract to install hundreds of RapiScan “porno-scanners” in TSA lines in airports throughout the United States earning me millions of dollars.
In 2012 I was appointed head of the US division of BAE systems, Europe’s largest weapons maker, to assist them in gaining a bigger slice of the Pentagon’s unlimited budget. ($495.6 billion 2015) Through my counsel Homeland Security now has enough hollow point bullets, armored vehicles and weapons to wage a multi-year war on Americans.
